After Graduation from Nova High in 1977, I went to the University of Florida in Gainesville. Like 3000 other Freshmen, I was Pre-Med until I took a trip up to Emery University in Atlanta with Tommy Yianilos to visit his brother Peter and fell in love with computers.I made that my major (this is going back before the PC was invented in 1981) and have been in Data Processing ever since. I spent 27 years at Florida Power & Light Company and also had the wonderful opportunity to help deploying the IT systems on the new building of the Queen Mary 2 in France working for Cunard/Seabourn Cruiseline. I have been a Utilities Consultant the last 5 years spending 7 months in Dubai and 17 months in Puerto Rico on varied Energy related projects.
Ever since I can remember I had a crush on Amy Kline (Nova High class of ’76) (she sat with me twice on the bus the year I was in 8th grade). I followed her whereabouts for years until I finally was lucky enough to marry her 31 years ago
We have three wonderful boys (Josh-38, Joey-36 and Daniel-29 and one daughter Natalie who at 18 is a Freshman at UCF). We still live in South Florida for now 55 years!!
I pursued a couple of activities to continue enjoying participation in the performing arts. I sang in the University of Florida Men’s Glee Club for 3 years and also sang with the Miamians (a men’s barbershop chorus), for several years after graduating college. Now, singing in our Temple Choir
I also pursued Power Lifting to emulate my friend in High School, Mike Brannon, and achieved a national ranking of 67th in my weight class in the bench press (lifetime best of lifting 305 pounds at 140 pounds of weight) back in 1984. You would never know it now!!!! I’ve managed to stay fairly fit but somewhere along the line, the body of my 20’s has gone away.I am so grateful to be associated with this incredible group, and always seize the opportunity to let people know that although I was in the back row, I am and will always consider myself very lucky to have been a part of our magic.

I am a proud graduate of Nova High School and participated in the musical production of “Funny Girl” in 1972. I portrayed Mrs. Strakosh and thus started my association with Hall/Hill Performing Arts and the alumni association. I have a passion for music and a love for the entertainment industry. My professional career has been in public relations with public television South Florida PBS, The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and Broward College. I have a deep respect for all the alumni of this incredible organization and salute the founders Allen Hill and Joyce Hall for their leadership. Although I am not in the spotlight anymore, the tradition continues with my daughter teaching elementary students since 2010 and tutoring adults the joys of music.
